Substitute Building Level Nurse

Substitute for building level nurse, implementing and assisting with health programs and needs in the building or buildings to which assigned.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Attend to ill or injured children and/or staff at school.
• Implement required medication schedules and maintain health needs on students. Follow daily plans/needs within assigned building.
• Maintain the efficient operation of the health office.
• Keep open communication among administration, staff, and families
• Treat and/or assist staff in proper health procedures for medically fragile students.
• Document, record, and keep detailed notes
• Follow and adhere to Hannibal Public Schools policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Required credentials:

LPN, RN, or BSRN
