Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating and diagnosing clients to identify specific mental health challenges, utilizing diagnostic assessments and interviews.
  • \n
  • Implementing a personalized treatment plan for each client, effectively managing and adjusting therapeutic strategies based on patient feedback and progress.
  • \n
  • Providing individual therapy sessions predominantly conducted via video conferencing, although in-person visits are also an option at our private facility when necessary.
  • \n
  • Employing various psychotherapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and psychodynamic therapy to cater to individual client needs.

  • Maintaining accurate and timely records using our electronic medical records (EMR) system while managing case notes and treatment plans efficiently.
  • \n
  • Conducting regular follow-ups and adjusting treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes for clients.
  • \n
  • Participating in crisis management and intervention strategies as needed, demonstrating expertise in handling emergencies with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • \n
  • Collaborating with case management teams to ensure comprehensive care and resource distribution for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population, addressing a wide range of mental health disorders including, but not limited to, Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Anxiety Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma-related issues, and grief. This role requires a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, providing a safe space for clients to share their experiences and challenges.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • \n
  • Valid Social Work License (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) as per state regulations.
  • \n
  • Clear record with no history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a recognized third party.
  • \n
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with a track record of experience in various psychotherapy modalities.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently, displaying sound judgment and a proactive approach to care.
  • \n
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • \n

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments, demonstrating resilience and adaptability to changing needs.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with various mental health disorders and the complexities of treatment planning.

  • Experience with telehealth therapy and electronic communication tools.
