A registered nurse specializing in medical surgical rehabilitation is needed for a facility in Boston, Massachusetts. The role involves providing patient care on a 30-bed adult rehab unit dedicated to stroke and brain injury recovery, with occasional care for patients with neurological or musculoskeletal diagnoses. This position requires flexibility to float to other units as needs arise, primarily during evening shifts.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor
• Location: Boston, Massachusetts
• Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 3 years of experience, certifications in BLS and other relevant clinical skills, experience with EPIC documentation, competency in PICC lines (care and blood draw), IV antibiotics, TPN, tube feeding (NGT, G-tube, GJ-tube), EKG, wound care (vac dressings, simple wound dressings), Foley and intermittent catheters, bladder irrigation, trach care, blood transfusions, ostomy and drain care (JP drain), and restraints.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, familiarity with adult rehab protocols.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This is a 30-bed unit with private rooms, specializing in adult stroke and brain injury patients, with potential care for patients with MS, Parkinsons disease, and orthopedic post-operative rehab (hip, knee). The role involves working evening shifts, providing high-quality patient care, and adapting to unit needs.
