PRN Job Details:

• This role will cover both facilities - Location: East Mesa and Youth Transition Campus (Kearny Mesa) — 446 Alta Rd Suite 1600, San Diego, CA & 2801 Meadowlark Drive, San Diego, CA
• Schedule : 10+ hours/week of coverage across both facilities in the evening sometimes day , including 1 weekend day per month
• Compensation : $55-57/hour, PRN, depending on experience

Overview:

Correctional Healthcare Partners (CHP) is seeking a licensed PRN Mental Health Clinician (LMFT/LCSW) or Fully licensed clinicians to provide clinical mental health services to justice-involved youth across CHP's East Mesa and Youth Transition Campus facilities. Under the direct supervision of the Health Services Administrator (HSA) and/or Mental Health Program Director, the Mental Health Clinician provides individual, group, and crisis mental health services to a youth and/or incarcerated population caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy services to a youth and/or incarcerated population caseload
• Monitor, assess, and document patient behaviors, symptoms, and clinical progress
• Participate in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams to ensure coordinated care
• Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care upon release or transfer
• Respond to crisis situations and provide triage support as clinical needs fluctuate
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation

Position Requirements:

• Fully licensed LMFT or LCSW mandatory
• Minimum 2 years of post-licensure experience for fully licensed candidates
• Correctional healthcare background and experience working with youth strongly preferred
• Prior experience in either setting is a plus
