Location: Alaska

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night Shift, 3x12 or 4x12 (your choice), 13 or 26-week assignment (your choice). Weekend coverage required and may be more frequent than every other weekend based on staffing needs. Guaranteed 60 hours per two-week period.

• Diverse patient population including surgical (colorectal, urological, gynecological, vascular, EENT, wound) and medical cases (oncology, cardiac, respiratory, diabetes, dementia, substance use disorder)
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, lift teams, and rapid response teams
• Free parking and 12-hour orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license in hand (pending licenses accepted for screening; must complete application within 48 hours of signing)
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with 5-6 patient ratios and Epic or comparable charting systems
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, airway management, and isolation precautions
• Willingness to float to similar medical-surgical units as needed
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
