MRI Technologist
Professional Type: Allied Health Professional Specialty: MRI Technologist Contract Type: Long-Term, 13 weeks, Shift: Evening, 2:30PM - 11:00PM, 40 hour/week, Rate: $70.00 - $75.00/hr Notes:
- Patient Preparation: Explaining procedures, obtaining patient history, and ensuring patient safety by screening for contraindications.
- Equipment Operation: Calibrating and adjusting MRI equipment, operating the scanner, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Image Acquisition: Positioning patients for scans, selecting appropriate scan parameters, and ensuring image quality.
- Patient Monitoring: Monitoring patient well-being during the scan, addressing concerns, and administering contrast agents as needed.
Requirements:
- Must have passed their MRI ARRT boards.
- BLS (AHA only).
