Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 9 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of ER experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state Certifications: NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, and ACLS required Must-Have: BSN highly desired, travel experience preferred Description: The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment that treats a variety of patients. Emergency Department nurses manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes. Patients range from urgent care cases, including simple procedures, to psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients. Nurses coordinate and deliver care to patients with complex nursing needs to ensure the highest level of safety and quality. The role also focuses on promoting a positive patient experience.
