Distribution Control Specialist & Store Assistant (Halls KC - Full-time) Job Category : Dept Store Sales Requisition Number : DISTR008917 Full-Time On-site Location HKMO Halls KC Crown CTR 200 East 25th Street Kansas City, MO 64108, USA Our store is on the third level of Crown Center Shops, a mixed‑use development with hotel, office, retail, residential and entertainment spaces. What your role entails and how you’ll contribute: Audit receiving memos against invoices or packing slips. Update the inventory system to accurately reflect new receipts. Generate price tickets for new merchandise. Investigate and help resolve receipt discrepancies. Check in new merchandise and attach price tickets. Assist with daily housekeeping tasks. Cross‑train in other distribution center areas such as receiving dock, shipping, supplies, warehouse functions, and delivery driver. Help with stockwork, price changes, and markdowns. Move sales fixtures and bring supplies to the sales floor. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Basic computer skills. Capable of standing or sitting for prolonged periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling carts. Preferred Qualifications: Competent in various computer programs. Strong problem‑solving skills. Warehouse position may involve noise, fumes, heat, and dust. Additional Details: The position is located at the Halls KC retail department store in Crown Center Shops. Basic store hours: Mon‑Sat 10am – 6pm; Sun 12pm – 5pm. Current Fall hours: Mon‑Wed, Sat 10am – 6pm; Thu‑Fri 10am – 7pm; Sun 12pm – 5pm. Holiday hours for 2025: Mon‑Thu 10am – 7pm; Fri‑Sat 10am – 8pm; Sun 12pm – 6pm. Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm; one Sunday per month 10:30am – 5:00pm on a rotating schedule.
