Senior Substation Project Manager

Role Description

Cordoba Corporation is seeking a Senior Substation Project Manager to join our Energy-Electric sector. The Senior Substation Project Manager will oversee and lead electric substation, transmission, and distribution infrastructure projects to ensure the safety and reliability of power delivery. This role involves:

• Developing strategic plans
• Managing budgets
• Overseeing both internal and external resources
• Handling risk management and project scope changes
• Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders

This work is critical in protecting customers by enhancing the safety of electric utility systems and maintaining reliable power delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in the Electric utility sector required
• Direct experience managing Electric substation, transmission, and distribution infrastructure projects required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• PMP certification or equivalent training preferred
• Advanced knowledge of electric utility construction methods, permitting processes, and regulatory environments
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency using Primavera P6, Power BI, MS Project, SAP, and portfolio reporting tools
• Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams

Requirements

• Pay Range: $143,000 - $175,000 per year
• Work Location: Remote with occasional travel
• Travel: Up to 5-10% travel to project sites within Imperial County, CA
• Visa Sponsorship: Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship
• Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening and background check
