Cleaning Supervisor

Job Skills/Requirements Summary Under the direction of the account or area manager, the supervisoris responsible for the daily cleaning of one or more buildings, including direct supervision and training of cleaning associates. Core Responsibilities Monitor facility security/safety by ensuring doors are locked after operating hours Measure, label, and use chemicals following proper procedures and adhering to safety protocol Empty Trash High and low dusting Clean and service restrooms, breakrooms, and conference and kitchen areas Report maintenance issues of the facility and/or equipment to the Account Manager Trainassigned personnel on cleaning methods, procedures, and equipment Provide work direction to personnel under the guidance of, and directed by, the manager Performroutine inspections of work performed by cleaning personnel Serve as backup for absent personnel Business Conduct Commits to behave in compliance with the company’s values and Code of Conduct Builds a culture of workplace safety and leads by example with one's own safe behavior Treats co-workers with respect and approaches conflict with positive intent and professionalism Asks questions to understand why we do what we do and how we do it - champions change when improvements can be made Skills Required Knowledge of safety practices Good time management Ability to work with minimal supervision Communicate effectively for training and scheduling Physical Requirements Regularly required to walk; stand; use hands tohandle or feel; reach with arms; andtalk or hear Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and peripheral vision Other Requirements: You must be 18 years old A pre-employment drug screen, continuous motor vehicle monitoring,and criminal background check are required. Must be able to be counted and relied upon; be on time. Must agree to wear any and all necessary personal protective equipment. Possess the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
