Highway Engineer

Job Opportunity

Great opportunity in Northern Wisconsin for a Transportation Engineer! Growing company looking for someone who would like to take a lead role and help grow the transportation program in Northern Wisconsin.

CONSTRUCTION / DESIGN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Construction site project management
• Complete required WisDOT reports
• Knowledge of FieldManager/FieldBook, Field Information Tracking (FIT), Materials Information Tracking (MIT), Lane Closure System (LCS)
• Submit reports and documentation consistent with current WisDOT standards
• Prepare Design Plans using Autodesk Civil3D design software
• Conduct field investigations as required by reports or studies
• Prepare technical reports, permitting documents, and cost estimates
• Coordinate meetings with clients, the public, local officials, and utility representatives
• Assist with mentoring of younger staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Construction Engineering required
• Previous WisDOT experience or client contacts in Northern Wisconsin would be a plus
• Civil 3D experience preferred
• Client liaison or project management experience or a desire to step into that role is preferred
• PE license is a plus
