Line Cook

Location: Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living Ashby Ponds is currently seeking Line Cooks who are passionate about great food, teamwork, and career growth to join our team. You will play a key role in driving our innovative Signature Dining Programs, which embraces scratch cooking, and chef‑inspired culinary creations. What we offer Compensation: $18.00 -$23.00 per hour, based upon experience Full time schedule 12 noon to 9:00 pm Most of our restaurant's team members are out before 9pm Growth Opportunities – build valuable kitchen and food service skills while working alongside an experienced culinary team. This role provides hands‑on learning opportunities and a clear pathway for career advancement, including the potential to grow into a Sous Chef position and other culinary roles with the organization. Ensure accurate portioning, plating, temperature, and presentation of meals. Utilize your culinary skills to create high-quality dishes that enhance resident satisfaction. Keep the kitchen and workstation clean and sanitized at all times. What you will need Minimum of 1 year of cook-to-order experience Ability to work weekends and holidays Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
