Field Reimbursement Manager, Immunology Dermatology
AbbVie
Field-based reimbursement manager for AbbVie's immunology portfolio serving a multi-state territory. Provides healthcare providers with expertise on patient access, coverage, and reimbursement support tools while building relationships and monitoring payer trends.
Responsibilities
- Educate healthcare providers on patient support programs, access tools, and reimbursement services
- Advise providers on prescription status, program eligibility, and specialty pharmacy networks
- Communicate national and regional payer policies, coding changes, and claims submission procedures
- Coordinate with AbbVie's access and reimbursement center to update providers on patient programs
- Report payer trends to internal market access and patient services teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Strong leadership track record with ability to communicate technical coding and billing requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D reimbursement dynamics
- Knowledge of specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution, and drug acquisition processes
- Understanding of reimbursement support compliance, regulations, and risk management
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening and safe driving requirements
- HCIR credentialing eligibility including background checks, immunization records, and state licensing
