Gastroenterology Physician – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported) The role is for a gastroenterology physician who wishes to own and operate an independent medical practice while receiving comprehensive administrative and operational support from MedCBO, a business‑in‑a‑box platform that assists physician groups with revenue cycle management, accounting, HR, EHR, payer contracting, compliance, and technology implementation. Responsibilities Provide clinical care within the gastroenterology specialty scope. Develop and maintain professional relationships within the medical community. Determine the clinical services offered by the practice. Manage clinical quality and patient experience, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination and legal structure assistance. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation and credentialing support. Financial reporting and infrastructure management. Staffing workflows, HR administration, and compliance support. Technology platform implementation, including EHR and telehealth systems. Supply‑chain and vendor coordination. Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted, good‑standing license in the intended state. Board Certified or Board Eligible in gastroenterology. Eligibility for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability insurance at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would impede independent practice. Demonstrated interest in the independent practice ownership model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets are available (urban, suburban, and rural). Market selection and relocation are physician‑directed, subject to licensure and regulatory requirements. Compensation Compensation is generated through the physician‑owned practice and is not salaried.
