Maintenance Manager

Asset Reliability & KPIs: Meet OEE and downtime targets using data-driven, predictive maintenance models. Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead technician crews to troubleshoot chronic machine failures and eliminate recurring issues. Off-Shift Escalation: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for weekend and evening crews to minimize emergency breakdowns. Process Improvement: Utilize Lean/Six Sigma to reduce scrap, optimize cycle times, and commission new capital equipment. Technical Upskilling: Assess maintenance team skill gaps in advanced automation—including PLCs and robotics —and implement structured training programs. Requirements Education & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field; equivalent hands-on experience and technical certifications also accepted. Experience: 5+ years of maintenance leadership in highly automated environments, such as automotive, electronics, or high-speed packaging. Technical Skills Automation: Advanced troubleshooting knowledge of PLCs (e.g., Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley), industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, EPSON, Mitsubishi, KUKA, ABB), vision systems, and conveyor systems. Systems: Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to make data-driven decisions. Methodologies: Strong operational command of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, 5S, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Data to Execution: Proven capability to translate raw data into actionable, executable strategies. Communication: Ability to distill complex technical problems into clear, easily understood updates for both executive leadership and production staff.
