Skilled Carpenter

Job Summary We’re seeking a full-time Skilled Carpenter to join our team for both residential remodeling and new construction projects. This position involves all phases of construction — from framing and finish work to cabinetry, millwork, and detailed punch lists. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently or as part of a crew and is committed to maintaining high standards on every job site. Responsibilities Perform rough and finish carpentry, including framing, siding, doors, trim, cabinetry, and flooring Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specs Work closely with project managers, lead carpenters, and subcontractors to complete tasks on time Maintain a clean and organized job site Ensure work is done safely, accurately, and up to NorthStar standards Communicate clearly with homeowners when on site Qualifications 3+ years of experience in residential carpentry (remodeling or new construction) Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and construction methods. Solid understanding of local building codes and industry best practices Proven ability to deliver high-quality, detail-oriented craftsmanship Willingness to be held accountable for quality, accuracy, and jobsite performance Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or with a team Physical Requirements Lift up to 30-60 pounds frequently during shift.
