Materials Engineer

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Materials Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Santa Rosa, CA  surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $94.15 Hourly 

**US Citizenship is required.**

**Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.**

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• 10-15 years of experience in advanced thin film coatings.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or relatedfield.
• Experience running the technical development and production of advanced thin-film-based technology solutions.
• Strong collaborative team member that thrivesin a dynamic technology environment
• Previous leadership experience is a plus.
• Experienced thin film materials and process engineer. 
• Extensive experience with sputtering and evaporation designs and processes to produce optical thin-film basedproducts. 
• Can be involved in mentoringand training entry levelengineers and manufacturing technicians. 
• Acts as primary technical contact to internal Program Managers for multiple projects. 
• Expertise using one or more thin filmdesign tools such as TFCalc, OptiLayer, FilmStar, FilmWizard. 
• Competent with various advanced analytical and metrology tools. 
• Solid communication skillto support engagements with customers, vendors andcolleagues at all levels within the organization.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills: focus on driving disciplined, fact-based and data-driven decisions while executing with discipline and urgency.
