Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Missoula, MT

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. You will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a premier healthcare environment. This role involves working in a fast-paced setting with a focus on delivering excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care during labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and child.
• Monitor patient vitals and fetal heart rates; assess any complications and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Assist with postpartum care and educate new mothers on infant care and recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care and advocate for mothers and newborns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must possess an active RN license.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Labor and Delivery and Post-Partum experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications preferred.
• Ability to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility may be required.
