Customer Service Rep-Level 1 - Associate (0 - 5 Years)

This position involves operating mail processing equipment to handle customer payments and related correspondence. The role requires performing basic equipment troubleshooting, using vendor software for data entry, and conducting research to process payments accurately. The successful candidate will ensure customer inquiries and account-related requests are handled efficiently while adhering to company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate equipment that sorts envelopes with customer payments based on business rules.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
• Operate high-speed mail processing equipment to open envelopes, extract content, and image documents.
• Operate rapid extraction machinery to process exceptions.
• Use vendor software to complete keying functions for customer payments or change of address requests.
• Use company systems and vendor software to perform research to apply non-complex payments and correspondence.
• Handle customer inquiries, billing issues, and complaints.
• Provide information on company policies and assist with problem resolution.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Experience: This is an associate-level position suitable for candidates with 0 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
