El Leño Steakhouse is a busy steakhouse focused on quality food, strong teamwork, and great hospitality. We take pride in serving expertly prepared steaks, seafood, pasta, and Latin-inspired dishes in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency during service
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner shifts
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Assist with prep work, inventory, and closing duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous line cook experience preferred
- Experience working with grills, sauté, or high-volume kitchens is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when needed
- Spanish/English speaking a plus
