Automation Quality Engineer

Designing and developing automated test scripts, the full-time remote Automation Quality Engineer will validate software functionality, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and document software defects using tracking tools. Key responsibilities Design and develop moderately complex automated test scripts and execute test cases Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution using defect tracking tools Collaborate with the software engineering team to understand application functionality and testing requirements Required qualifications 3-5 years of overall testing experience with 2-3 years in automation testing or equivalent training Proficiency in Python programming and experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Collibra DQ, Karate, JUnit, TestNG) Hands-on experience with SQL and database testing Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git) and JIRA or similar management tools Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
