Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll Do:Review and respond to unemployment claimsPartner with site leadership to address people issues and develop business solutionsAssist with investigations and formulate proper responses to government, legal, or internally reported employee relations issuesEnsure legal compliance with all applicable local state and federal employment laws to minimize risk/exposure to the companyOversee all aspects of employee relations; ensure Company policies are administered fairly and consistentlyOversee annual benefits open enrollmentOversee recruiting process to ensure staffing needs are met in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with EEO, FCC and Affirmative ActionPartner with Leave of Absence team to ensure compliance with ADA and FMLA; communicate with employees regarding leaves of absenceParticipate in compensation planning, performance assessment and employee development planningAssist in recruitment and administration of new hires, terminations, compensation, learning and development, performance management and benefits programsOversee implementation of CMC programs to comply with various governmental regulations dealing with EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA and other related Federal & State lawsWhat You'll Need:Ability to work a schedule outside of normal business hours as needed to support a 24/7 operationKnowledge of Human Resources field, including recruiting, employee relations, benefits, training, and compensation requiredMinimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a Generalist roleYour Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience requiredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
