Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current OT licensure, or eligibility for licensure in Maine
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Strong understanding of IEPs, special education, and accommodations
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other service providers
• Compassionate, student-centered approach to therapy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' areas of need
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students' academic and functional goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to ensure student success
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Maintain detailed records of sessions, progress, and outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote optimal student participation
• Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment when appropriate
• Support transition planning and skill development as students advance through grades
