Clinical Liaison Opportunity

Our skilled nursing organization is seeking a Clinical Liaison who brings both clinical expertise, such as an LPN, RN, or Respiratory Therapist, and a passion for consultative sales. With over forty (40) skilled nursing communities, eight (8) hospice offices (and growing!), plus our own internal staffing agency, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support at every stage of the healthcare journey.

This unique role bridges healthcare and business development, working closely with hospital partners, case managers, physicians, and families to ensure seamless transitions of care. If you understand patient acuity, can confidently speak the language of clinical decision-makers, and are motivated by driving referrals through trust and results, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day. As a Clinical Liaison on our team, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills and demonstrate your compassion, positively influencing the lives of our residents and team members. You must have an active RN, LPN, or RT license in order to be considered for this position. This role will be covering all our West Des Moines, Ames, and Osceola territories and qualified candidates must live in one of those areas.

What you'd do as a Clinical Liaison at Care Initiatives:

• Designs and implements a marketing plan primarily designed to meet the needs of professional referral partners in long-term care.
• Leads efforts in establishing broader community engagement.
• Completes marketing calls; maintains a record-keeping system on marketing activities, including documenting referrals in the clinical record.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates initiatives designed to promote awareness and understanding of Care Initiatives' programs and services in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.

What it takes to become a Clinical Liaison with Care Initiatives:

• 2-3 years of proven success in healthcare marketing and/or sales.
• Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Active RN, LPN, or RT license required.
• An understanding of the continuum of care and the admissions process is highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
