We are seeking a skilled and compassionate

Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

for a

13-week assignment

at a healthcare facility. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services that help patients improve independence, functional abilities, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities

Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
Provide therapeutic activities and exercises to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), coordination, strength, and functional performance
Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, safety strategies, and home exercise programs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient care
Maintain a safe, organized, and professional treatment environment
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on positive rehabilitation outcomes
Requirements

Required:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Required:

Active COTA license in state of assignment or ability to obtain
Preferred:

Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
