Key Responsibilities

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead dynamic group therapy sessions that enable clients to express themselves within a safe environment, promoting shared experiences and mutual learning.
• Individual Therapy: Provide personalized counseling to clients by actively listening and addressing their unique psychological needs. Help them navigate their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and implement action plans tailored to their individual circumstances.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments to meet their specific mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a counselor at Telemind, you will primarily work with young adults who are grappling with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Qualifications

• Active Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in California.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in mental health settings, with a focus on either residential or outpatient care.
• Strong clinical skills in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
