Registered Nurse Operating Room

Operating Room RN Opportunity

Seeking a skilled Operating Room RN to support surgical procedures within a busy hospital environment. This role involves working on a dynamic team to deliver high-quality perioperative care to diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all sterile equipment are set up according to procedure requirements.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during various procedures, including orthopedics, robotics, neuro, urology, and vascular surgeries.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels before, during, and after surgeries.
• Adhere to strict infection control policies and hospital protocols to maintain a sterile environment.
• Document surgical procedures, patient responses, and care provided accurately in EMR.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years' OR experience, including orthopedics, robotics, and general surgery.
• ACLS certification required.
• Demonstrated proficiency with surgical instrumentation, equipment, and endovascular skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a positive attitude.
