Attractions & Ride Operators Six Flags Great Adventure – Beachwood, United States. Pay rate: $16.00 per hour. Responsibilities Provide guests with a safe and enjoyable ride experience. Entertain guests and calm their nerves as they board world‑class thrill machines. Operate ride controls, pushing buttons and pulling switches to launch attractions. Ensure seat belts are tight, loose items secure, and lap bars locked to keep guests safe. Enforce rider restrictions and measure height requirements. Assist guests in and out of ride vehicles and manage line flow efficiently and cautiously. Maintain cleanliness of ride patios and midways. Act as first responder to ride emergencies and respond appropriately. Qualifications Must be 16 years or older. Able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout the shift. Excellent verbal communication skills. Must be able to read and understand English. Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
