Picture your week: four focused days on campus in our fully equipped labs, guiding aspiring professionals through wiring, controls, and safety protocols in the Electrical and Electronic Systems program. At Lincoln Tech, we welcome seasoned industry pros—whether or not you've taught before—and provide the support to help you thrive as an educator.
What your day looks likeMorning lab setups. Live demos on single- and three-phase systems. Hands-on practice with installation, service, and troubleshooting. You’ll coach learners on professionalism and safety, assess progress, and keep instruction aligned with our accredited curriculum—always with the goal of preparing students to step confidently into in-demand electrical careers.
Your core impact- Deliver hands-on instruction using modern Electrical and Electronic Systems training equipment.
- Facilitate and follow an accredited curriculum to build strong fundamentals.
- Champion safety practices and compliance with industry regulations and codes.
- Mentor students on professionalism, accountability, and continuous growth.
- Evaluate performance, provide clear feedback, and chart next steps for improvement.
- Prepare students with the knowledge and skills for successful entry into the trade.
- 3+ years of experience in the residential, commercial, or industrial electrical field.
- Background in installing and servicing electrical equipment.
- Working knowledge of single-phase and three-phase power.
- Familiarity with electrical codes.
- Exposure to motor controls, lighting controls, or solar is a plus.
- Experience or knowledge of low-voltage systems is a plus.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Prior teaching experience is a plus, not a must—we’ll help you transition.
