Mammography Technologist I: Irvine Breast Care and Imaging - Per Diem

Primary Duties And Responsibilities * The Mammography Technologist performs routine screening mammography examinations to obtain high quality radiographs. * Obtains images of excellent diagnostic quality to optimally demonstrate anatomy and/or pathology while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients. * The technologist educates the patient about the exam and takes measures to provide and care for the patient’s safety and properly utilizes procedure related patient care/support devices appropriate for the age of the patient. * Alerts Supervisor and/or appropriate staff of potential problems or equipment malfunctions.

• Maintains a relaxed environment to calm anxious patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
