Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level commercial litigation associate to join its Miami, FL office. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of business litigation experience and be adept in handling complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts. Duties Conduct and manage written and document discovery. Research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings. Conduct and defend depositions. Prepare witnesses for testimony. Appear for status conferences and argue motions in court. Participate in settlement conferences and negotiations. Assist with trial preparation. Requirements 4-5 years of business litigation experience. Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal, preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude. Comfortable with direct interaction with partners and clients. JD from an ABA-approved law school. Active member of the Florida Bar or timely admission required. Skills Persuasive legal writing and oral advocacy. Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. Exceptional work ethic and intellectual curiosity.
