Responsibilities: Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs Manage own caseload Qualifications: Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus Communication, problem-solving, decision‑making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis) Must have courtroom experience arguing motions, trying cases, arguing motions, etc. About Company: We are a family law firm handling divorces, child custody, child support, legitimation, contempt, and domestic violence cases. #J-18808-Ljbffr
