Job Title

Travel RN – Medical-Surgical Float Pool

Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Medical-Surgical Float Pool setting at a large academic medical center
• Float to various Medical-Surgical units as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements
• Utilize the Epic electronic medical records system to document and manage patient information accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility dress code and unit-specific protocols and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital (candidates with 1 year of experience must pass a competency assessment)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to complete competency testing within 24 hours of submission if applicable
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Travel candidates only — local candidates from ineligible counties will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of Medical-Surgical experience in a large academic or teaching hospital environment
• Prior float pool experience across multiple Medical-Surgical units
