Job Overview Direct Support Professionals support individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, helping them live independently and engage with their communities. Responsibilities Provide support and care to aging adults and individuals with developmental disabilities to promote independence and community engagement. Qualifications A High School Diploma or equivalent is desired. Basic computer skills. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Acceptable criminal background check (FBI/ICHAT). Meets agency definition of acceptable moral character. Physical requirements include, but may not be limited to, lifting up to 50 pounds.
