Permanency Supervisor

Overview Description Average salary is $67,204.80 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.). Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university with 4 years of full-time child placing experience as a worker or above in a private or state agency. Note: This posting contains the core job description, duties, and qualifications. Responsibilities Supervise the Permanency staff assigned to the area. Promote the well-being of children in the Permanency Services Program. Participate in staff meetings and trainings and coordinate with staff from other agencies involved in providing Permanency Services. Directly or through subordinates perform duties related to Permanency Services. Interact routinely with clients, judges, attorneys, children, school personnel and other aspects of the community. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field from an accredited four-year college or university. 4 years of full-time child placing experience as a worker or above in a private or state agency. Compassionate, eager to learn, and committed to helping families in times of crisis to build on their strengths and connect them with community resources.
