About Us:

Brown Butter Craft Bar and Kitchen is growing, and we’re searching for an experienced Head Barista to lead our coffee program. This role is perfect for someone with a deep passion for coffee, a talent for crafting and expanding a beverage menu, and the ability to independently manage and maintain a manual espresso machine.

Your Role:

• Lead our coffee program, ensuring excellence in every cup.
• Craft and refine high-quality espresso and coffee beverages with precision and consistency.
• Dial in and maintain our manual espresso machine—your expertise in extraction and equipment care is essential.
• Innovate and expand our beverage menu, bringing creative and seasonal offerings to life.
• Provide top-tier hospitality, engaging with guests to create a welcoming café experience.
• Train and mentor baristas, fostering a team culture of knowledge and passion for coffee.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and quality control for all coffee-related operations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Extensive barista experience, with a strong understanding of manual espresso machines.
• A passion for coffee education, menu development, and crafting unique drinks.
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of coffee operations.
• Strong leadership skills with experience training and mentoring baristas.
• Customer service expertise—hospitality is at the heart of what we do.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills to keep things running smoothly.
