Associate Medical Director A highly respected long-term care organization is seeking an Associate Medical Director to join its leadership team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician who is passionate about patient care and interested in expanding their leadership and administrative experience while remaining actively involved clinically. Working closely with an experienced Chief Medical Officer, the Associate Medical Director will play a key role in shaping clinical operations, improving quality outcomes, and supporting a multidisciplinary care team. Compensation: $250,000 – $280,000 What You'll Do Partner with executive medical leadership to oversee clinical operations and quality initiatives. Support physician services, care coordination, and rehospitalization reduction efforts. Participate in policy development, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement programs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and resident satisfaction. Provide direct patient care to a panel of residents while maintaining leadership responsibilities. Serve as a key liaison between medical staff and administration. Assist with oversight of clinical standards, quality measures, and regulatory compliance. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified and licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State. Strong clinical background with experience in post-acute care, skilled nursing, geriatrics, or long-term care preferred. Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting. Passion for quality improvement, patient-centered care, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Preferred Experience Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing leadership experience. Geriatric Medicine Board Certification/Eligibility. AMDA Certified Medical Director. Palliative Care Certification. Experience with post-acute care EMR systems. Why Consider This Opportunity?
