We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Cook to join our team. As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of foods for residents/patients, employees, and visitors. If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for cooking, we encourage you to apply for this full-time position.Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a wide variety of foods according to menus and recipesPlan cooking schedules to meet mealtime schedulesPerform related duties and cleaning duties as assignedDirect other Food and Nutrition Services employees in the absence of the Food Service Director and Assistant Food Service Director/Chef ManagerMaintain a clean and safe kitchen environmentRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience in commercial/volume food preparation requiredServe-Safe Certification requiredAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English languageAbility to positively interact with residents/patientsAbility to solve operational problems in the absence of Food Service Director and Assistant Food Service Director/Chef ManagerWorking Conditions:Occupational Exposure: Category IDepartment: Nutritional ServicesReports to: Dietary SupervisorFLSA: Non-ExemptSchedule:AM Shifts: 10:30AM-7:00PM$23 or more depending on experienceIf you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for cooking, we encourage you to apply for this full-time position.
