This school psychologist assignment runs from August 18th until June 4th, with a possible extension if emergency days arise. The role services elementary and PreK-8th students, working closely with another psychologist to manage a caseload of approximately 180. Full-time hours range from 35-37 per week, with start and end times of either 8:00 am–4:00 pm or 7:30 am–3:30 pm.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois PEL and compliance with state requirements
- Proven school psychologist experience; not seeking new graduates
- Skilled in supporting PreK-8th grade populations
- Adaptability and strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide interventions for PreK-8th grade students
- Collaborate with another psychologist to split and manage a caseload of 180
- Facilitate team meetings, counsel students, and implement evidence-based practices
- Maintain documentation and liaise with families, staff, and outside support services
