POSITION TITLE: CASEGOODS PRODUCT SPECIALISTDEPARTMENT: WOODSHOP SUPPORT JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME, REPORTS TO: VOLKER BRAUNSHIFT: 1stFSLA: NON-EXEMPTDATE: 9/28/26Job Description: The Casegoods Product Specialist is responsible for creating 3D CAD models based on custom quotes, carefully choosing materials and hardware, and designing products that streamline assembly and machining processes. Key duties include preparing approval drawings, producing bills of materials, developing CNC programs and optimizations, as well as assisting manufacturing teams with assembly and machining questions. The role involves close collaboration with Quoting, BOM, Purchasing, and Engineering departments.Day to Day Responsibilities:Develop 3D models in IMOS for standard and custom productsProduce approval drawingsLink IMOS 3D model to ERP and other production planning systemsReview bills of materials and manufacturing documentsOptimize materials using CutriteEnsure engineering accuracy and complete documentationAssist production teams with product and manufacturing inquiriesApplicants must have knowledge of cabinet design, engineering, and industrial woodworking machinery, as well as basic assembly skills. A minimum of two years' experience in architectural millwork or high-volume cabinet manufacturing is required.
