236: Senior Dev, Python & Streamlit

Our client, a US-based P&C insurer you've certainly heard of, needs a very strong Python & Streamlit developer. This person will work closely with the company's data scientists to access the company's pricing systems and produce human-readable descriptions of the company's risk rating factors. These PDF documents will be sent to state regulators and are critical to the business. THE WORK: The work entails developing a Python web application that gives non-technical users access to technical policy rating and pricing algorithms. LOCATION: The client team is located in Seattle, but we'll accept candidates from anywhere in the US so long as they are willing to work West Coast hours. MODE: Contract DURATION: Through April or May 2027 REQUIRED: Python GitHub & GitHub Actions Bash Streamlit and/or Flask DESIRED: Docker experience AWS (EC2, Kubernetes/EKS) experience Insurance pricing experience Data science & analytics experience COMPENSATION: $65-$75/hour on C2C or 1099 WHY THIS JOB IS SPECIAL: This is a great opportunity to work with highly skilled data scientists for one of the world's largest insurers. This client has a long history of extending contracts and has hired a number of our consultants onto their permanent, W2 staff.
