Pharmaceutical Development Associate Scientist II

Catalent seeks a Pharmaceutical Development Associate Scientist II to support formulation and process design for oral solid dosage forms in Kansas City. The role involves executing laboratory work, drafting technical documents, and ensuring compliance with GMP requirements during clinical manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Execute laboratory work plans and schedules with supervisor guidance
- Draft technical documents including batch records, reports, and standard operating procedures
- Perform parallel review of manufacturing documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Conduct physical testing including density, flow analysis, and sieve analysis
- Train others on basic laboratory techniques and maintain quality documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life science or physical science field
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutics principles and concepts
- Ability to apply mathematical and scientific reasoning
- Understanding of equipment operation and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices
