Start Date: 07/13/2026

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Duration: Ongoing assignment

Hours per Week: 36 hours (3 shifts/week)

Employment Type: Contract

Required Certifications: BCLS, NBSTSA

Experience: Minimum 2 years in transplant surgery, liver transplant experience required

What You'll Do:

Scrub and assist in liver transplant surgeries independently and efficiently

Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterile conditions

Assist surgical teams with large open belly cases, general, urology, thoracic, gynecology, plastics, and transplant procedures

Handle specialized equipment including DaVinci XI robotic system

Maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures

Support the surgical team in a high-volume environment (average of 35 cases/day)

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth surgical operations

What You Need:

Active NBSTSA certification and BCLS certification

At least 2 years of transplant surgery experience, specifically in liver transplants

Proven ability to scrub liver transplant procedures independently

Experience with large open case surgeries, aseptic technique, and handling advanced surgical equipment

Ability to work night shifts and handle call requirements (40-60 hours every 6 weeks)

About the Assignment:

This position is based at a prominent hospital in Indianapolis, specializing in transplant surgery. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility with 22 surgical rooms and cutting-edge equipment, including the DaVinci XI robotic system. The role involves Night shifts with a 12-hour schedule, providing an excellent work-life balance for qualified surgical techs with transplant experience.
