Job Opportunity: Critical Care Anesthesiologist HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is recruiting a board eligible/certified, fellowship-trained Critical Care Anesthesiologist to join HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, FL. Qualified Candidates/Opportunity Highlights: MD or DO licensure from an accredited institution and ABA board eligibility/certification required. Fellowship training in Critical Care Anesthesiology from an ACGME-accredited program required. Must be able to obtain an unrestricted medical license and DEA from the state of Florida prior to employment. The ideal candidate will have one to three years' experience following completion of fellowship training and demonstrated experience in teaching and mentorship. Anesthesia Care Team model of 10 Anesthesiologists and 28 CRNA's; MDs do approximately 5% of their own cases. Diverse mix of cases including Trauma, Thoracic, Open Heart, Structural Heart, Vascular/Endovascular, General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Neuro, ENT, Urology, and Peds. State-of-the-Art facility with a total of 13 operating rooms, with 2 of those being used for open heart surgery; 2 OB (Level III NICU); Level II Trauma. Annual surgical volume - 11,500 cases. Incentive and Benefits Package: W-2, salaried position with excellent compensation. Start Date bonus and relocation assistance available. Additional compensation if Physician chooses to pick up an extra shift. Paid time off and $5k annual CME allowance.
