Behavioral Health Technician

Role Summary
We're seeking dependable Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to provide hands-on support in a fast-paced, recovery-focused environment. In this role, you'll help maintain a safe, structured setting while supporting clients in their day-to-day recovery journey.

Shifts Available

We currently have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift opportunities available . Weekend availability is required , and a shift premium is offered for employees who are willing to work both weekend days as a set schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor client behavior, safety, and well-being
• Assist with admissions, including screenings and documentation
• Support detox protocols and take vital signs as needed
• Transport clients to appointments and approved outings
• Assist with daily living activities and group support
• Respond to crises using de-escalation techniques
• Document observations in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Valid driver's license and age 18+
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in behavioral health or substance use preferred

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, climb stairs, and drive for long durations.
