Job Duties
- Provide Radiation Oncology coverage at UCLA Health locations throughout Southern California, based on clinical and operational needs
- Evaluate and manage patients who may benefit from radiation therapy as part of their comprehensive cancer treatment
- Provide radiation oncology consultation, treatment planning, on-treatment management, and follow-up care
- Develop individualized radiation treatment plans based on each patient's diagnosis and clinical needs
- Collaborate with medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiology, pathology, medical physics, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
- Utilize advanced radiation therapy technologies and techniques to deliver precise, patient-centered treatment
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation within the electronic medical record
- Support quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives within Radiation Oncology
- Provide clinical coverage for up to eight days per month
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiation Oncology residency
- Active California medical license or eligibility for California licensure
- Ability and willingness to provide clinical coverage across UCLA Health Radiation Oncology locations throughout Southern California
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered cancer care
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary clinical environment
