SEO Specialist

Pennock is adding a Search Engine Optimization Specialist to the team! This person will be responsible for implementing, optimizing, and analyzing on and off-page SEO across five clients. Each day at Pennock is different from the previous one and we’re looking for a candidate who is excited by a fast-paced environment, wants to learn new things, and is fired up about working in SEO for DTC and CPG brands. About You You have a strong grasp on all aspects of SEO and can manage components of strategy through to execution and insights reporting for our clients. Responsibilities Develop optimization strategies that increase search engine results rankings for our clients Research SEO keywords to use throughout websites and marketing materials Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in our SEO efforts Lead competitive and gap analysis of other companies Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO performance Collaborate with paid media team members and clients to execute programs Write compelling and high-quality website content, including meta tags and in-line copy Develop and execute internal linking and backlink strategies for maximum optimization and search engine rankings Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate Qualifications Bachelors degree 3+ years of SEO experience Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools Previous agency experience Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis Analytical and data story-telling experience Benefits Health, dental, vision 401(k) match Unlimited PTO Referral + retention bonus Pennock is an equal opportunity employer.
