What You’ll Do

• Provide routine labor management, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Support postpartum rounding and emergency gynecologic consultations
• Handle limited high-risk obstetrics with transfers for pregnancies under 36 weeks
• Collaborate with support staff, including Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), within a hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology department
• Document care using EPIC EMR system
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays as scheduled

What You Need

Required:

• MD/DO licensure in Wisconsin or eligible via IMLC
• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
• DEA license
• 1-2 years of clinical experience in OB/GYN

Preferred:

• Ability to float to multiple sites including Janesville, Monroe Clinic, Baraboo, and Madison
• Experience supporting labor and delivery units with routine and emergency services

About the Assignment

This role supports a busy hospital-based OB/GYN department with approximately 500–600 births per year. The provider will cover a variety of obstetric and gynecologic services in a fast-paced environment, with scheduled shifts that balance weekend and weekday coverage. The assignment involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care with a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in women’s health.
