Support the maintenance team by performing a variety of groundskeeping and facility care tasks, ensuring every area is safe, inviting, and ready for guests to enjoy.What you bring to the tableMake sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.Fill propane tanks efficiently and safely to keep operations running smoothly.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the RV Park showers, toilets, and laundry facilities, ensuring guests experience a hygienic and comfortable environment.Clean and service equipment in the Laundry Mill to support seamless operations.Mow lawns, trim edges, and shape flower beds and walls to maintain a polished and inviting landscape.Prune shrubs and trees to encourage healthy growth and remove damaged or unsightly foliage.Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides to lawns, shrubs, and trees, and rake and bag leaves for proper disposal.Keep grounds tidy by removing litter and debris, and sweep or shovel walks and driveways to maintain a safe, presentable environment.Assist maintenance personnel as needed to support property upkeep and ensure smooth daily operations.Plant grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs, and water landscapes to keep grounds vibrant and flourishing.Repair fences, gates, walls, and walkways, and paint fences and outbuildings to maintain a welcoming appearance.Clear drainage ditches and culverts to prevent water accumulation and maintain safe grounds.Sharpen and maintain tools such as weed cutters, edging tools, and shears to ensure efficiency and safety.Perform minor equipment repairs to minimize downtime and support the team's productivity.Pick up and deliver tools, supplies, and equipment across the property and locally, keeping operations well-equipped and organized.Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)Must-haves, nice-to-haves, and maybe some bonus pointsFriendly and approachable attitude that helps guests (and the team) feel welcome and cared for every day.High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.One (1) to three (3) months of related general labor experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.OR Driver's License required with the ability to be insured under the Company policy.Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.Physical stuff to knowWe've included the typical physical parts of the job here. Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally sit. It's important to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure, especially when dealing with stressful situations or upset people.
