Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: August 17, 2026
Location: Georgia

Schedule: Variable shifts with 3 weekend shifts per contract; 2 on-call shifts required per 6 weeks for AM and PM shifts; patient ratio 1:1-2

Highlights:

• 16-bed Labor and Delivery unit with average daily census of 15, plus 6-bed L&D Triage
• Diverse case mix including vaginal delivery, cesarean sections, multiple births, postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy-induced hypertension, and D&C procedures
• Epic charting system (required), Pyxis medication management, and SBAR communication
• Team-based unit culture with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and social services
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4-12)
• 24 hours of paid orientation with non-billable modules completed during onboarding

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Previous travel experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Patient ratio experience with 1:1 or 1:2 assignments
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Full compliance required to start on time; all documents due Tuesday prior to start date
• Core compliance items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
